Part 4: A Reunion at Amante

Ibiza, Spain

Once upon a time there was a girl called Emma. And Emma worked with William before travelling off on a crazy adventure around the world with her boyfriend, Mark. After a while they landed in Australia and made a life for themselves on the other side of the world.

And a few years later William and Coman came to visit and catch up with their news and a wonderful time was had by all. But things changed and Emma's life was altered forever... and from those changes arose the amazing, magnificent woman who's just pulled up in front of the Hotel Garbi with her dog Sunny in the back and the biggest smile on her face.

"Oh my God!!!" we scream at each other. "It's SOOOOOO good to see you!!" And the intervening years fall away in seconds and a beautiful night unfolds.

We've spent the day baking on the beach, taking things very easy indeed, foregoing an invite to attend a barbecue and party at my boss' villa on the other side of the island, in favour of sheer relaxation before our long-awaited hook up with Emma. A dip in the sea, a light lunch, a couple of hours reading books and a strong mojito all feature before we return to our room and prepare for tonight's reunion.

Emma has suggested we go to Amante for dinner, a stunning clifftop restaurant near Santa Eularia that has levels all the way down to the cove below, and serves absolutely incredible food. It's also where Kylie Minogue hosted the launch of her 'Aphrodite' album a couple of years back, so scores even more points with Coman.

Emma picks us up at 9pm and we head north along the coast, pulling off to trundle down a quiet side road that opens out to an enchanted space within which sits the restaurant, all fairy lights and twinkling magic.

And as we sit down to eat, with Sunny very much an equal partner at the table, snaffling up food and generally being the cutest lady on four legs, talk turns to Emma's great adventure.

Having worked at EMI Australia for five years, she took advantage of the tidal wave of change that's engulfed the company worldwide, to pack her bags and leave Oz in February.

Returning to the UK via LA and New York, she moved on to Ibiza the following month to start the next chapter of her life; setting up her new business 'Ibiza Pin-Ups', a 40's/50's bombshell makeover and photosession, turning any woman into a glamourous icon. Her drive, belief and excitement are fantastic and as we talk about her new life and career, she radiates happiness and calm, putting her dreams into action.

We talk about life on the island now she's resident here, rather than just a visitor, and how she's become vegan, creating a world of health and well-being. We learn about the intricate and beautiful Japanese tattoos that adorn her right arm, we remember Mark and how he changed her life and look to the future, bright and beautiful.

And of course we drink cocktails, quaff wine and eat fine, fine food, all the while talking at a million miles an hour. So it's little surprise that we're still here at 2am, having a glorious time, utterly unaware that evening has become night and turned into the early hours of tomorrow.

Emma has work to get on with in the morning, and we are happy to think about bed so, with Sunny in tow, we jump back in Emma's car and she drops us off at our hotel, with plans to meet up again tomorrow night and head to super-club Space where an old friend of her's is DJ'ing.

We can't wait!
